-The head teacher and the three assistant head teachers take turns in making the class schedule.
-First, we extract the students who will graduate from the schedule.
Second, we plot the request of old students until Wednesday,3p.m.(the deadline for the requests).
Third, we plot the new students who will have all man to man classes.
Fourth, we will also plot the students who will get the general course(4MM 4GC) and we assume their level according to the given information. We will then print for and the tentative schedule and wait for the level test.
Lastly, we finalize the schedule after the level test and have the revised one.
-Students will just get the request form in the office. The students need to write the name of the teacher or subject that they want to change and their reason for changing it. Then, they will put the form in a spindle on before Wednesday, not later than 3:00p.m.
– If students are late for 10 minutes, they are already considered absent. Their man to man teachers may leave the student’s cubicle.
Actually, we don’t have any punishment regarding student’s negligence of doing assignment.
-Every teacher has a different type of homework for a student. But commonly in an IT class, a student is asked to write 5-10sentences related to the grammar lesson discussed(past tense, relative pronouns,etc)
-Word bucket test is a vocabulary test. It is a ten-minute vocabulary test.
The words are taken from the 1500 words marathon material.
Students can have any kind of subject as an additional class, like IT,PRO,UE,CT,PRE,DEBATE,VOA and SBT.
They can also have the specialized classes like TOEIC,Business,TOEFL and IELTS as an additional class.
-Teacher Rhema was the Outstanding teacher for two consecutive months-July and August. She is very enthusiastic, flexible, and has very good teaching skills.
– The contents of the level check test are TOEIC listening and reading , TOEIC speaking (question 1,3,11),pronunciation and writing.
During the test ,students are assigned to one teacher who acts as their facilitator. The teacher checks and assesses students English communication skills by asking them to answer a series of questions.
-The students have the freedom to come any time to the office to address issues concerning their teachers or subjects.
When students complain about their teachers performance, the academic staff privately consults with the said teacher. The academic staff counsels the teacher pertaining the student’s complaint.
With regard to student’s classes, the academic staff and teacher work hand in hand to resolve issues about level difficulties and subject difficulties. Most often than not, student are advised to change curriculum or classes if they find their present subjects difficult.
Likewise,the academic staff advises the teachers to adjust lesson materials to student’s level is the students find the prepared lessons too difficult.
